Sophie
We have been thinking of getting a dog for a while. While on vacation Steve saw a Boston puppy for sale that he fell in love with and didn't bring home. That led to an online search of neighboring animal shelters where we saw a picture of Sophie and her siblings. We went to meet them and only Sophie was left and needless to say she didn't stay there much longer. We are adjusting to having a four month old puppy. Some days are better than others. Overall Sophie is very sweet and when she stops trying to eat everything and everybody and goes to the bathroom outside every time, she is going to be a great dog. Hopefully the puppy phase is short lived.

The ride home
Summer Vacation
We left Bloomington the end of May for Momo's house in Tallahassee, Florida. Momo had a surgical procedure the day after we arrived and we tried our best to take care of her (she is not a very cooperative patient). Steve and Andy spent some time at Grandpa Calvin's in Quitman, Ga to do a little visiting and cleaning out a junk room. Aunts Brenda and Catherine were also there. We spent a very enjoyable day swimming at Nancy and Marc's house. We were then on to Panama City for two weeks. We were joined by the Cyzons, Aunt Diana, Cousin Collin and "the Dad". We had a root tooting good ol' time and we sorry to see them go home to their pink house. We then were back to Tally and were able to have dinner with the Hoover's. Then we left Andy with Momo and went to visit with Steve's friend Chris in Athens. It was then on to Andrews, NC. We stayed on a farm with llamas, goats, donkeys, big and little dogs and a cat. While there we went on a train ride out of Blue Ridge Georgia. Aunts Brenda and Catherine came over to visit and took Mimi hiking to the top off a mountain (poor Mason pooped out). Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and we made it back home on July 2.
